Deborah Rise Movement (DRM) Doctrinal Statement

We believe in:

  • The inspiration, inerrancy, sole authority and all sufficiency of the 66 books of the Bible

  • The monotheistic view of God, the Triune God, the personality and eternality of God

  • The creation of man in the divine image of God

  • The sovereignty of God in creation, revelation, redemption and final judgement

  • The deity, humanity, virgin birth, sinlessness, atoning death, bodily resurrection and return of Jesus Christ

  • The personality and deity of the Holy Spirit

  • The universal sinfulness and guilt of all people since the fall, redemption from the penalty and guilt of sin solely through the sacrificial death of the Lord Jesus Christ, the incarnate Son of God

  • The justification of sinners by the grace of God through faith alone

  • The eternal heaven and hell, the eternal security of believers

  • The power of the Holy Spirit in the work of regeneration, the indwelling and work of the Holy Spirit in the believer

  • The one holy universal Church which is the body of Christ and to which all true believers belong; the headship of Christ over the Church

Except for the above fundamental doctrines, we hold that individuals have the liberty to hold differing views, provided that they hold their distinctiveness in love and respect, agreeing to disagree and allowing differences of opinion and practice to keep our spiritual perspective balanced
